Sollys Energy is proud to announce its selection as one of Malawi’s leading enterprises chosen to join the Empowering Sustainable Entrepreneurship in Africa (ESEA) Acceleration Programme, co-implemented by Village Capital and Emerge Livelihoods, with support from the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (Norad).
This prestigious programme supports high-potential African enterprises that are driving solutions in renewable energy, climate adaptation, sustainable agriculture, waste management, and the blue economy. Through ESEA, Sollys Energy will access world-class mentorship, investment readiness training, peer learning, and opportunities to connect with regional and global impact investors.
“Our selection into the ESEA programme is a testament to our commitment to powering progress across Malawi through inclusive, sustainable energy solutions,” said Martin Masiya, Founder and CEO of Sollys Energy. “We look forward to working with fellow innovators from across the continent to advance Africa’s green growth agenda.”
The ESEA programme aims to strengthen Africa’s sustainable entrepreneurship ecosystem by equipping growth-stage enterprises with the skills, networks, and capital needed to scale their impact. For Sollys Energy, this milestone aligns with its mission to accelerate access to clean, reliable, and affordable solar energy for households, businesses, and community institutions across Malawi.
As part of this cohort, Sollys Energy joins a network of exceptional Malawian enterprises championing innovation and sustainability in key sectors that are vital to the country’s economic and environmental future.
